The present invention10discloses a signal light28for motor vehicles12having a U-turn symbol22incorporated on the signal light to inform other motorists14, 16of the vehicle's12intent. The signal28is used when making a U-turn and is located on the driver's side18front30and rear32of the vehicle12. The device10is activated by the vehicle's operator by means of a switch24that is located on the dashboard26of the vehicle12. Other vehicles, both oncoming14and vehicles16in the rear of the U-turn vehicle12, can clearly see the intent of the driver, avoiding what could be a potential accident. The U-turn light28is located on the vehicle12in conjunction with turn signal lights and headlights20. The signal light28comprises an ambient light source visible during day light and night hours.
