ABSTRACT:
Motor, either synchronous or direct current, including at least one drive coil and including a magnetic rotor having at least two concentric rings of magnetic domains of alternating magnetic poles, with each succeeding rotor ring being of a larger diameter than the previous rotor ring. The drive coil is radially movable so as to be positioned over or adjacent to each of the rotor rings.
