ABSTRACT:
A motor-driven welding machine capable of holding and carrying a welding torch stably along a welding line, the machine including adjusting means for varying the mounting position of a welding torch or the inter-axle distance of carriage wheels according to the type of the welding torch to be held thereon. The machine further includes means for allowing or stopping oscillatory or pivotal movements of the welding torch in horizontal and vertical planes and means for steering the carriage wheels in relation with the oscillatory movements of the torch.
