ABSTRACT:
A position detection section10outputs a position signal101indicating the relative position between motor windings L1to L3and a rotor60.A crossing detection section20aoutputs a rotation signal241indicating the magnitude relation between the position signal101and a reference signal102.An energization control signal generation section30generates, based on the rotation signal241,energization control signals301for the motor windings L1to L3.An edge signal221is outputted when the magnitude relation of the two signals is reversed, and a mask signal231is outputted over a predetermined period of time from when the edge signal221is outputted. While the mask signal231is being outputted, the crossing detection section20acontinuously outputs, as the rotation signal241,a comparison result signal211which had been inputted before the mask signal231was outputted.
