ABSTRACT:
An electronic mosquito repellant sonically or ultra-sonically attracts male mosquitos. The presence of the male mosquitos repels the pregnant female mosquitos. The female mosquitos, as distinguished from the male mosquitos, are equipped with mandibles capable of piercing the skin of human beings. As a matter of fact, though, it is only the pregnant female mosquitos that require blood for incubation of the fertilized eggs that bite. Thus, the electronic device repels the biting female mosquito and precludes being bitten by mosquitos in an area covered by the output of the device.
