ABSTRACT:
Mononitrotrifluoromethyl diphenylethers having the formula: ##STR1## ARE PREPARED BY REACTING A CHLORONITROTRIFLUOROMETHYLBENZENE WITH A PHENOLATE.
The compounds of the invention show good fungicidal and post-emergence herbicidal activity.
