ABSTRACT:
A monoazo lake pigment of the formula (I): ##STR1## whose X-ray diffraction pattern shows a high diffraction intensity at a diffraction angle (2.theta..+-.0.2.degree.; Cu - K.sub..alpha.) of 4.9.degree., moderate diffraction intensities at 18.4.degree., 25.9.degree. and 26.8.degree. and relatively low diffraction intensities at 11.1.degree., 15.3.degree. and 21.2.degree., and printing ink, a paint and plastics in which the monoazo lake pigment is contained.
