ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a monitoring image recording apparatus capable of searching image data stored in a hard drive at high speeds. In this invention, video signals input from cameras10are detected by motion detector14, and the difference of search results is stored in a hard drive18as incidental information of image data. When playing, based on the incidental information of image data, it is determined whether or not a motion is present within a set range. If motion is present, image data stored in the hard drive18is output to a monitor television23.
