ABSTRACT:
A monitoring apparatus for color printing enables printed matter which is moving at a high speed to be displayed as a stationary image on a color television monitor. The apparatus includes a stroboscope for illuminating the moving printed matter, a color television camera for receiving images which are reflected from or transmitted through the moving printed matter, a first conversion circuit which is connected to an IC memory to convert and store the received images, and a second conversion circuit connected to a color television monitor for displaying the received images which have been stored in the IC memory.
