ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a monitor system for a projection apparatus which system is suitable for detecting errors in a display on a projection screen. A projection apparatus100comprises a projection section120that projects an image on a screen110, an image pickup element130into which the actual projected image projected by the projection section120is loaded, an error detection section140that detects errors in the projection section120on the basis of the actual projected image loaded into the image pickup element130, and a notification section150that carries out a predetermined notification when the error detection section140detects an error. The error detection section140detects errors in the projection section120on the basis of an original projected image to be projected by the projection section120and an actual projected image loaded into the image pickup element130.
