ABSTRACT:
A method for making a molded wood products wherein wood particles are admixed with an ammonium salt of a weak acid (e.g., ammonium carbonate) and the salt-wood particle mixture is placed in a mold and compressed or otherwise molded at elevated temperatures (up to 200.degree.C) and pressures (1000 to 10,000 psi).
