ABSTRACT:
A molding for a front glass mounted continuously, from right and left front pillar portions to a roof portion, to a gap between a peripheral portion of a front glass of a vehicle and a window frame of a body of the vehicle. The molding has a groove lip which is formed of a different material than a material of a leg portion, a head portion, a glass lip and a panel lip, and which extends over a predetermined length from a lower portion to an upper portion of the front pillar portion. The extended length of the groove lip becomes gradually shorter and disappears over a corner portion of the upper portion of the front pillar portion and the roof portion. The leg portion, the head portion, the glass lip, the panel lip and the groove lip are integrally extrusion-molded. The entire sectional configuration does not deform at a portion whose cross-section is changed, and high adhesion of the molding to the front glass can be maintained.
