ABSTRACT:
There is disclosed a mold (1) for casting including: a lower mold (6) having four gates (5) (at least one gate); an upper mold (7) being matched with the lower mold (6) to form a cavity; and side molds (2a), (2b) being matched with the lower mold (6) and upper mold (7) to form the cavity and being split (into at least two). In the mold (1) for casting is constituted an upper surface of a weir (4) of a flat portion of side molds (2a), (2b), and other surfaces of the weir (4) is constituted of a concave portion of the lower molds (6), and the weir (4) is disposed so as to keep a parting line (3) between the side molds (2a), (2b) away. The mold (1) for casting can easily be demolded, and the desired number of gate systems can be formed in desired positions.
