Bis-[.beta.-D-glucopyranosyl-1-thio (or sulfinyl or sulfonyl)]-arylene sulfate derivatives, the cation salts thereof, useful as modulators of the complement system, the intermediates thereof and the process for the preparation of such intermediates and end products.
