ABSTRACT:
A modular building structure is disclosed herein and comprises a support structure (10) including a plurality of spaced vertical columns (11), horizontal beams (12) interconnected between columns to form a rigid support system, and at least one space module (22) structurally defining an enclosed volume of space and adapted to be removably supported from said support structure, in which there are provided utility conduits (45, 46, 47, 48, 49) integrated with at least some of said columns and connectable at their lower ends to utility inlets and outlets (40). The conduits are provided for connection into various units (34,35,36,37) and utilities with the space module.
