ABSTRACT:
A modelmaker's miter jig has a work support surface and includes, in one aspect, a recessed rule slideable in a channel formed in the work support surface, and a stop member mounted on the rule and protruding above the support surface. A lock secures the rule and stop so as to register a workpiece in a desired relation to a saw guide. In another aspect, the jig includes a base member dependent from the work surface and having a clamp-engaging face for receiving a clamp to removably mount the jig on a table top. A preferred embodiment is formed as an extrusion.
