ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to isolated nucleic acid molecules which encode a BEL transcription factor from potato (Solanum tuberosumL.) and the amino acid sequences encoded by such nucleic acid molecules. The present invention also relates to a method of screening a biomolecule for its ability to assist in mediating long-distance movement of a mobile RNA in a plant.
