ABSTRACT:
A film stretching unit movably positioned adjacent to an existing calender installation is described which includes a plurality of strecthing rollers having internal rotary joints for circulating a heating fluid therethrough. Alternate rollers are movable vertically without needing to change their rotational speed in order to easily thread the film through the stretching rollers.
