ABSTRACT:
A mobile device that has a media path for receiving a sheet of print medium and a media drive mechanism for directing the print medium along the media path. An optical sensor in the device is positioned to receive first optical image information via a first optical pathway, and second optical image information via a second optical pathway. The first optical information being from an area of the media path and the second optical information being from an area external to the mobile device.
