In the mobile telephone1relating to the present invention, a control section2performs control for switching between a non-active state which refuses inputs to an application program, and an active state which permits inputs to an application program. Moreover, the control section2performs control for switching the execution state of the application program from the non-active state to the active state, in accordance with instructions from an input section3. The control section2further performs control for switching the execution state of the application program from the non-active state to the active state, in accordance with a function contained in an application program.
