ABSTRACT:
A missile seeker head comprises a telescope mounted on a gimbal apparatus in a forward end of a projectile, pivotal in the gimbal sufficient to search a field of regard of up to 60.degree., and a camera mounted further back in the projectile, connected to the telescope by a coherent fiber optic bundle.
