ABSTRACT:
In a milling cutter for milling work with a setting angle of preferably 90.degree., the face cutting edges (1a, 2a) and the peripheral cutting edges (1, 2) are orientated in opposite directions for the chip removal. The peripheral cutting edges (1, 2) operating in each case in the milling direction each take up half the width of the entire milling cutter, as a result of which the latter can be used as a reversible milling cutter.
