The microwaveable hair curler is preferably blended from a polyorganosiloxane gum, a particulate electromagnetic absorptive material, a filler and a catalyst and extruded as in a cylindrical shape. The hair curler is heatable by exposure to microwave energy in a microwave oven or can be used in a variety of commercially available electric heating units.
