ABSTRACT:
Norbornane-2 and norbornene-2-carboxylic acid compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein Y is a single or double bond, R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are each hydrogen or alkyl groups having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms are used as microorganism inhibitors in aqueous suspensions or emulsions.
