ABSTRACT:
A polypeptide having an endonuclease activity derived from a psychrophilic microorganismShewanellasp. strain Ac10, which exhibits high activity at low temperatures, can remove any nucleic acid present in a protein solution and can reduce the viscosity of a protein extract; and a nucleic acid encoding the polypeptide.
