1-substituted-4-aryl-quinazolin-2(1H)-ones and thiones and pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidin-2-ones, eg. 1-isopropyl-7-methyl-4-phenyl-quinazolin-2(1H)-one, are useful as platelet aggregation inhibitors.
