ABSTRACT:
The invention described herein is a phenolic having a structure represented by formula (I):wherein n is an integer of 20 to 200, R1is an unsaturated hydrocarbon chain, and R2is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom and —OCH2CH2O(CH2CH2O)nCH2CH2OH. Also described are methods of preparing the compound, pigment dispersions containing the compound, ink and paint compositions containing the compound and methods related thereto.
