A method of forming an identifying imprint on a resin-molded product, includes the step of dividing a material into a first portion and a second portion, to form an identifying surface on at least one of the first portion and the second portion. The method also includes the steps of molding a resin material into the resin-molded product, and transferring an imprint of the identifying surface onto the resin-molded product.
