ABSTRACT:
Methods for making transgenic plants that are resistant to HPPD herbicides are presented. Polynucleotides other than those fromPseudomonas fluorescensthat encode resistant HPPD enzymes are enclosed for use in the process of making transgenic plants that are tolerant to HPPD-inhibiting herbicides.
