ABSTRACT:
Methods for treating vascular stenosis using hepatocyte growth factor ("HGF") are provided. In the methods, HGF can be administered to enhance re-surfacing of blood vessels damaged or traumatized, for instance, by vascular surgery or angioplasty. Articles of manufacture and kits containing HGF are also provided.
