Luminaire apparatus, including a luminaire having a paraboloidal reflecting surface and a source of radiant energy such as a light source located at the focal point of the reflecting surface, is combined with means for selectively refracting light emitted by the light source and carrying out an improved method of producing a flood configuration of reflected light.
