ABSTRACT:
The disclosed invention is a method of injecting polyalkylene glycols, or copolymers thereof, having a molecular weight between about 100 and 1200 into a hydrocarbon formation in conjunction with a chemical flooding process to reduce the loss of injected chemicals to the formation by adsorption and precipitation.
