ABSTRACT:
A method for controlling undesired vegetation comprises contacting the vegetation with a herbicidally effective amount of a composition containing the compound of the formula ROOC(CH.sub.2).sub.n COOR' wherein R and R' are independently selected from a C.sub.1 to C.sub.8 alkyl group and n is from 1 to 8.
