ABSTRACT:
A method for treating diseases and symptoms caused by papillomaviruses is presented. The method comprises administering an effective amount of one or more 2',5'-oligoadenylates consisting of the structure: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.2 is PO.sub.4.sup.2- and R.sub.3 is OH, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are OH; and n=1 or n=2.
