ABSTRACT:
Change of color of grafted fiber or fibrous material having active hydrogen can be prevented by treating the fiber or fibrous material with a processing agent consisting mainly of a compound having the following general formula ##STR1## wherein M.sub.1 -M.sub.5 represent a hydrogen atom or alkali metal, and n represents 0 or 1.
