ABSTRACT:
A method of treating depression with 5-(aminoalkyl)-11-phenyl-5H-dibenzo[b,e][1,4]diazepines having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are selected from hydrogen or methyl and X is selected from hydrogen, chlorine, bromine or fluorine is disclosed.
