ABSTRACT:
A method for safely, reliably and continuously feeding a liquid specimen such as human blood in one container on a centrifugal rotor into another container on the same rotor without the need to touch the specimen as well as any part of the device while completely preventing contamination due to mixing of microorganisms. A liquid is injected into a pressurizing or a depressurizing container on a rotor from outside to pressurize or depressurize a first container on the rotor, thereby feeding under pressure a specimen in the first container into a second container on the same rotor, or sucking a specimen in the second container into the first container.
