ABSTRACT:
Certain pyrazolo[4,3-c]quinolin-3-ones, e.g. those of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, alkyl or alkoxy with up to 4 carbon atoms each, hydroxy, fluoro, chloro, bromo or trifluoromethyl; and R is phenyl, fluorophenyl or pyridyl; or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; and pharmaceutical compositions comprising above compounds are useful for suppressing appetite in mammals.
