A relay station200constructs an infrastructure wireless network200L. A printing device100requests new participation in the wireless network200L. When preset conditions are satisfied, for example, when the user has pressed a push button201provided on the relay station200, the relay station200establishes temporary wireless communication with the printing device100and changes an SSID of the printing device100to an SSID of the relay station200. In this manner, this arrangement readily changes the configuration information of the printing device100.
