ABSTRACT:
A method sculpturing from sheet material a vacuum formed glass mold. The sheet material is cut into a plurality of sections that are combined into laminated structure is that is welded together and mounted on a mold base. The top surfaces of the individual sections are machined to form a glass forming surface that can be used to vacuum form glass that conforms to the shape of the forming surface.
