ABSTRACT:
A method is provided in a server, having a first operating system (Windows) and a second operating system (MCP), to allow both environments to share the same resilient and redundant benefits provided by the Fibre Channel storage systems with multi-path capabilities and to ensure that MCP formatted disk units in a virtualized environment in the first operating system will only receive and accept MCP formatted data from the second.
