ABSTRACT:
A method of quantitatively determining the grain size of substances comprs introducing ultrasound of two different frequencies and measuring the sonic pressure amplitudes of both frequencies, determining the attenuation coefficients from these measurements for both frequencies and finally calculating the value of a.sub.4.
