ABSTRACT:
The present invention is characterized by producing a one part organopolysiloxane composition by mixing an organohydrogenpolysiloxane, an addition reaction catalyst, and a hydroperoxide (retarding agent), maturing the resulting mixture at a temperature of 0.degree. to 60.degree. C. for 10 hours or more, and then mixing the obtained mixture with an organopolysiloxane that is a base component. According to this method, the viscosity increase of a one part organopolysiloxane composition wherein a hydroperoxide is used as a retarding agent and the curing delay of said composition due to aging can be obviated.
