ABSTRACT:
Monokines are provided which are produced by monocytic cells of mammals which have been stimulated with interferon-.gamma.. cDNA sequences encoding the monokines are also disclosed. Methods of producing the mammalian monokines are taught. The monokines are implicated in immunological and inflammatory processes, as are other members of the platelet factor 4 family of cytokines.
