ABSTRACT:
A vehicular headlight, in particular an automobile headlight, including a reflector (1) having a reflecting surface, is capable of illuminating a flat target surface to be illuminated with a desired light distribution by optimal utilization of the light source of the headlight. Therefore the optically effective surface of the headlight is characterized by point asymmetry in substantially all planes cutting said reflecting surface.
