ABSTRACT:
A method of producing a metallic-tone coating on a metal substrate, wherein the main paint contains not greater than 40% by weight of solvent plus metal scales of regular shape and size having no shape corner edges, and wherein the viscosity of the paint is adjusted to 10 sec to 30 sec Ford Cup Test at 25.degree. C.
