ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a conductor composition that can form a conductor pattern having a good shape precision and a method for producing an electronic component using the composition. This conductor composition contains an organic vehicle, and a conductive powder (typically Ag powder) made of a noble metal or an alloy based on a noble metal, contained in a mass ratio of 80 mass % or more in the conductor composition, and having an average particle size of 0.8 μm or less, and a ratio (D50/Dmin) of the medium value D50of the particle sizes to the minimum value Dminof the detectable particle sizes of 5 or less. This conductor composition has preferably a ratio (V1rpm/V10rpm) of the vicosity V1rpm1 rpm and the viscosity V10rpm10 rpm is in the range from 2 to 5.
