ABSTRACT:
This invention relate to a process for producing a 1,2,3-trithiane compound of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein each of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is independently a lower alkyl group, or alternatively, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 together with the adjacent nitrogen atom form a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic group which may further contain an oxygen, sulfur or nitrogen atom, or a salt thereof, which comprises reacting a compound of the general formula: ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are as defined above, or a salt thereof with a compound of the general formula:
