ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a method of processing a silver halide color photosensitive material. In particular, to a rapid processing method capable of reducing the development time. In the processing method, an exposed silver halide color photosensitive material having at least one emulsion layer containing a silver halide having a chlorine content of at least 80 molar % based on the total halogens is processed with a color developer containing an aromatic primary amine color developing agent and a dialkylhydroxylamine of the following general formula (I) but substantially free of benzyl alcohol: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each represent an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group or an unsubstituted or substituted alkenyl group or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may form a hetero ring together with nitrogen atom.
