ABSTRACT:
A method of processing big game scent, such as deer lures, including the steps of filtering a mixture of urine and feces through a series of successively finer filters in order to remove contaminants and pathogenic bacteria from the scent without destroying or denaturing the aromatic attractants. In a second embodiment, the mixture is heated to a temperature to destroy pathogens. A third embodiment is a combination of filtering followed by heating.
